I watched several go for $200 or more on live auctions recently, outside of CA!

I just did my range qualification for CCW renewal. The wife and I showed up for just the shooting portion of what was a full CCW class. It was a church class (our church...gun friendly church/pastor) so we knew a number of folks, including the person about to be mentioned.

She (idk her name) is a very nice woman in her late 20s early 30s, but very very odd, socially awkward, dresses like a 12 year old tomboy stuck in the 1970s. Anyway she's in the CCW class and she has a HP22A, and 1 50rnd box of thunderbolts, its the first gun she's ever owned, its the first gun she's ever shot. I don't know what she does for a living or what her financial situation is, but the class was 70 bucks, in Yuba county an initial CCW permit is 205 bucks, its as if she bought the absolute cheapest handgun she could find, oh wait

Anyway it was painful to watch and I felt bad for her and the instructor.

Hope somebody took pity and casually tried to help/educate her.

And you didn't offer her a Raven????

Although I have and like my HP22A and it has been flawless, I would NEVER expect to use it for other than casual plinking.
