    PHOENIX ARMS HP22A REVIEW

This is the cheapest gun I have ever had. I bought because it is cheap small, and cute. I just get my Phoenix Arms HP22A last week. And I have shot more than 3000 rounds in these days. I have to tell those people who said HP22A is junk, this gun is really fun at its price, only 150. I use all high velocity ammo for the 3000 rounds, and my gun is not damage at all. And this gun is also very accurate. I can always shoot 8,9 or 10 after I get used to this gun. This gun is also pretty reliable, only about 3-5 jams at the first 300 round and no more jam after. I am not trying to make an advertisement about this gun, but I am just want to tell people that some SUPER BAD comment about HP22A somewhere online is not true at all, from my personal experience, at least this gun is not a junk. ppl saying this is probably just because phoenix arms is not as famous as glock, sw, hk, sig, etc.....
p.s, I polished the ammo feed ramp to mirror finishing before I start shooting.

I had one. My wife put about 2500 rounds through it. The feed ramp lips wore down, the slide edges got burrs, and the gun would no longer cycle.

          But so what.
For $150, she got a year's good use out of it, and got comfortable loading, and racking it.
Wasn't cost effective to repair it, so I traded it in for $75 in Ralphs cards.
          Not bad at all.

I bought mine new to support the Ring of Fire almost destroyed by California and Fed gun laws. Never a problem, but I use standard velocity ammo.

You are one smart fellow to use what the manufacturer says to use. If more folks did that there would be less failures of those pistolas. Good for you.

Mine has been good to me with a little 2k rounds. Just do what PA says and don't use high or hyper velocity ammo and you're GTG.

Just an FYI, but the Phoenix Arms "lifetime" warranty is only good for two repairs.

I've known people to send their guns in half a dozen times over a 3 year period with no issues.

(The reason for sending it in so much was that they fired an obscene amount of ammo through it, something to the tune of 30,000. There was an old thread about it at BJJ forums, but when they moved to another server they lost it plus everything else)

Mine is cracked. I bought it used so I will have to send it in and pay the $50.00 but I did this video with it cracked and it's still shooting just fine and accurate

good for you, when i got mine i didnt see a lot of horror stories reported, and it has served me well...i only use HV ammo from bulk packs or CCI Mini Mags with the occasional stingers, no cracks, no issues

gotta take a lot of the negative gun reviews on here with a grain of salt, most are just snobs and half the people talkin crap never owned SAID firearm

i havent seen any on SALE at my local turners, but if i do ill snatch up a nickel one, since i already have the blued version
