good Shooting Izzy!!! Wish I could have made it out this month but just couldn't find the time. I'm anxious to see what you post for Feb.

Just FYI to all the shooters. Izzy will be running the Match for Feb and Mar. Izzy has full control to change it up however he likes. Rumor has it we might even have some different ranges like a 75yard target. Just want to say thanks to Izzy for stepping up in this time of need!!

You are certainly welcome. Just hope I keep up the standards (or close to it) set by dwh100 and yourself. There will be a 75yd scoped target in Feb and some new stuff in March as well. I would appreciate some feedback (via PM) on the changes. As I am sure you are aware, different targets can be hard to come by but we'll try.

February targets!!

Print all targets at 100%. Colored targets may be printed in grayscale to save on color ink if desired.

25 Yard Irons:
See attachment below.
Take 3 shots at each target for a total of 12 shots. Score your target as indicated on the target.

50 Yard Scoped
See attachment below.
Take 3 shots on each bullseye for a total of 18 shots. Center bull is 10, then 9, 8, 7, 6.

50 Yard Irons

Take 5 shots on each target for a total of 10 shots. Score your target as indicated on the target.

100 Yard Irons
Take 5 shots. Score your target as indicated on the target.

75 Yard Scoped (NEW)

This is an online match. Print off the targets, shoot where and when you want. Come back and post your targets for those in your face bragging rights!! I do encourage meeting up with other match shooters. Any rimfire firearm is eligible. Shooting from a benchrest, prone, sitting, standing, hood of your car, leaning against is acceptable. Using a rest in which the rifle can be locked down is verbotten.

Here is how it will work. This is only on targets that have multiple shots on one target

Made it out to Laguna Seca this morning in some beautiful weather to shoot the 50yd scoped. Scored a 186 using my Savage MKII BV, shooting RWS R50 from a bench with a bipod and rear bag.

Nice shooting, especially with a bipod at the front. Hope to see more targets that you shoot.

Don't know if you noticed but I added a 75yd scoped target this month. The target is on my second post.

Yeah I saw it, but the ranges I shoot at don't have a 75 yd capability. Maybe if i get out to Panoche.

Actually, I meant more like "as in nobody else would have access to a range with snow, so I'd win by default."

Got out this week and shot 50 and 100
Started at 100 so I could miss the afternoon winds and shot the following.
Scoped 100
Score 55 (boy messed up adding that on paper) and finally outshot my Kimber with irons

Well im pleased with my shooting at 100 but I know I can do better at 50 and I still have 75 and 25 so stay tuned

Hey usmcchet, check your 50 irons again..looks like a 62 on that first target!!! I wish i could shoot irons well anymore with my eyes getting fuzzy. Might be time for glasses....

First time trying this out. Went to San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range and shot the 50yds scoped. I'm not confident with my scoring yet so I didn't write them down but my guess is I got 153. The range didn't have sand bags or rests in 50yd lines, I think I could do better with a rest or bags, maybe I'll be able to try this out again later this month.

Welcome to the matches Pretty good shooting without rests or bags. Stay with it and your shooting will improve. I'll check you score and let you know if its different than your scoring.
