Thank you! Been an addict for a while but I came to the realization that I need a .22 to save money and keep me happy.

I added an ATI stock to one of my 10/22s so that the LOP can be adjusted for kids or adults. + or - $60 or so is nothing in the long run so don't let your purchase price discourage you from enjoying your gun.

Hey, Evo, could you tell me what stock you have on that 10/22 on the bottom left? So sexy.

I don't know the difference ... But I love my ruger 1022 fs tactical... I don't mind the synthetic stock and no iron sight..

The stock is ATI and it folds and collapses for adjustable LOP.

That's pretty cool, are you still able to use iron sights of you want to while using that stock?

Could anyone recommend a well made tacticool stock that also would make my 10 22 into a tac driver?

ATI seems pretty cool, same goes for butler creek. Nutnfacy seems to go crazy about tapco and promag.

Private party not transfer from an FFL.

I can't believe the difference in prices between So Cal and No Cal.... Ammo Bros has carbines on sale in So Cal from 199, Turners run them for 209, you hardly ever here No Cals below 229. Its a brick of good ammo difference and more.

Any CG reviews of the 10/22 "takedown" yet?

I doubt it. Those of us who bought them are still waiting the 10 days. I get mine on the 9th. Others will get theirs on the 8th (since they just came out).

walletclan has it right. I get mine on the 8th. If there are any reviews, we should question how they got it so fast. Those of us in the know went down and bought it immediately. There aren't going to be any available for those of you waiting for a review...at least at the prices they were being sold. The shop that I purchased mine from was allocated one more, which he is selling for $389. Amazingly it hasn't sold yet. Guess they haven't run out in Sacramento yet, because Paradise really isn't too far to drive IMO. If you want a good review, go to gunblast.com. When people are done customising these, they are going to be the bomb when it comes to the ultimate survival .22. Maybe just a little heavy for some situations, but if you want light, buy the Henry AR-7. Personally, I want a go anywhere gun that is somewhat disguised and I can throw into the trunk, camper, boat etc. You can load up the tactical bag with many other kind of supplies, first aid, mre's, compass and always know if you have that bag, you have a means to provide for the food, safety and defence.

                              Have you considered this one?
