kinda regret it already... but I like the SS finish and I wouldn't save any money if I bought the base model. Oh well.
I already looked at the remington stock, so sexy.Молон Лабе

Just picked up a Carbine on Saturday for $249 out the door (sale price+10% off+DROS+tax). I knew I wanted the cheapest one with the incredible amount of aftermarket goodies available for this rifle. I ordered a black Hogue Overmold stock today cut for the bull barrel and am planning on getting a bull barrel when I decide what I want. Still need to look into the 16 inch vs 18 inch vs 20 inch pros/cons, steel vs. aluminum, and fluted vs non-fluted. I won't be buying anything else for a bit and am going to run the stock barrel for a while in the Hogue overmold for the bull barrel as my funds need to recover. The second I get the gun the stock wood barrel will be coming off and going on eBay. Pandaluv did you get yours at the Sunnyvale Big 5?SIG MCX, HK VP9, SIG P938Comment

I picked up my basic 10/22 from the Sports Authority in Concord when they had it on sale for 199 and Big5 had it for 229. This a little more then a year ago. Some guys like their powder like their women, hot, cheap, dirty, that would be TiteGroup. -CocoBoloComment

No reason for buyers remorse. Even at full price you have a nice gun that will save you money (rimfire vs center fire) and give you a lifetime of enjoyment. Take it to the range and shoot it before you make any upgrades. I've owned my 10/22s for years before doing anything to them. All my 10/22s are stock except for one. I added an ATI stock to one of my 10/22s so that the LOP can be adjusted for kids or adults. + or - $60 or so is nothing in the long run so don't let your purchase price discourage you from enjoying your gun.

Yeah, I guess I'm spoiled by my local GS.... I have a SR22 Ruger rifle in jail at the moment. I just checked it out the other day. Feels solid! Will give a range report. Enjoy your new gun!Comment

Nice! Those sr22 pistols look really nice. I've been buying bricks of .22lr in anticipation of picking up my ruger 10/22...it also helps with the waiting
...and would like a 22 pistol as well because getting 500 rounds for less than 20 bucks is nice
