MOA out to 100yds if aperture iron sights are allowed and I'm on that day with either Kimber 82G or CZ Ultralux.

Impressive, and very nice rifles btw.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

The only thing a 10/22 MUST have is a trigger up grade. Just replace the hammer with this:

It will make a night and day difference. THE BEST 33 bucks you will ever spend for your 10/22. IMO!

Need is one thing, want is another. With that being said, it's all about fun and what makes you happy!
            1) Scope - all power ranges to suit your needs 2-6, 3-9,and up.
            2) Red Dot Sight - fast target acquisition for close in work.
            3) Laser - works really well when light starts to dim, and at night.
            4) Rail Mounted Light - Necessity for controlling critters at night.
            5) Bipod - steady your aim from bench or prone.
Personally, I have a scope, laser and light mounted on mine as I live on a farm and have some critter control to do at night.
Whatever floats your boat - have fun!

Lots of ammo, trigger improvement if needed? Scope ? Magazines?

+1 on trigger and auto bolt release. My wife could never release the bolt and so never shot. I bought this and now she enjoys shooting with me.

Bolt Release. Best 12 dollars spent so far.

Go with a UTG bipod if you are looking to save. I purchased mine online for $26 shipped, and I have not had one problem with it. Has all the features the Harris does, but does not have the auto extend for the legs. Still, totally worth it. You might want to start thinking about a scope as well..I also purchased an aftermarket trigger online for $17. Last thing, change the hammer out if you want to lighten your trigger. Does make a difference.

Just change the hammer. The springs come with the kit but the ruger springs are known to be better. (I did this upgrade to mine). What a world of difference!

I can't believe someone hasn't recommended the SAW or Barrett 50 Mod?

Cool, thanks. Guess that means I can just order the hammer, some other websites have the hammer.
