I have had mine since 1989 and love it. I is showing its age in looks. I have not been to friendly to it. I have replaced the recoil spring and pin about 3 times. It still out shoots my 10/22 every time.

I have been shooting my boyfriend's Marlin 60 that his dad bought in the 70s. It is still basically "new" since his dad only shot maybe 500 rounds total since he purchased it. I have already shot 500 rounds and no problems whatsoever.

That was all I was going to add! I have a 10/22 with tech sights and it is excellent. I'd love to have a Marlin 60 with tech sights!

How are the triggers on these out of the box?
