Define "best". Tacticool looking or functional? The reason that I ask is that most synthetic stocks have too much flex. Flex = accuracy limitations. For looks I like a solid walnut stock and for rough use I like a laminated wood stock. My two favorite 10/22 stock makers are Revolution and S&K. Each of their styles of stocks is optimized for a different style of shooting be it prone, silhouette, bench, or hunting/plinking but none are so specialized that you can't use it for everything. Below is part of my collection and I intend to build one more using this stock. BTW just because Shooter's Discount's site shows out of stock you can still call and let them search the warehouse for you.

I prefer the thumbhole stock of the Tundra (probably my favorite general purpose stock) but that's just personal taste because both are great stocks. I built the Trailblazer as a tribute to my dad (using his 10/22) who preferred a more conventional look.Last edited by sholling; 12-20-2011, 8:30 AM."Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." --FREDERIC BASTIAT--

I just read your remarks- THANKS! I was trying the Archangel and couldn't use the iron sights, esp with my huge earmuffs. My wife couldn't reach it, either. I've been looking for comments and found yours...very helpful. Thanks!I picked up the Tapco t6 a few years back for 60 bucks. Not sure what it goes for now. It came with a straight buttstock for a scope and an angled one for irons.
I really like it for looks and comfort (the wife does too). It works fine for my purpose of plinking at the range.
No it won't make your gun more accurate.....but it might make it more fun!Comment

I do not have this particular M1 stock but have another one of the copies. It's a decent enough M1 Carbine look-a-like. I went with the Blonde wood.
I dropped some Tech sights (front and rear on it) and now this gun is an absolute blast to shoot. It's light, shoots great, and the Tech sights are awesome. Love them. Decently easy to install also.Originally posted by GioIt is so nice to drop mags freely even though I do that now with my featureless AR and AK it is not the same as the real thing. Like Coca Cola here in the US compared to Mexico with real sugar not corn syrup!

mine...very ergonomic and adjustable!
TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
