You can put any upper on it except 308. ie: 22lr, 5.56, 6.8.

If you put a 22lr upper you'll have to get a dedicated 22 hammer from PC.

False. You can put on a 308 caliber upper on a ar-15 but it'll be a single shot.

I like the concept of plum crazy, but their customer service is severely lacking, they made some really poor business choices which affected the quality of their product, and their fire control group is made of plastic. That pretty much did it for me. I went with a budget T7075 aluminum lower and built a pretty nice gun for $750.

Get a cheap aluminum lower, and put anything you want from a .17hmr to a .510dtc and enjoy your gun!

I do not own any Plumy Crazy lowers however I would stay away from them. A good friend had multiple Plumcrazy's go tits up on him, the FCG broke off altogether. Only 600 rounds were put through the upper that was mounted to this lower and it broke while field stripping the weapon. Maybe they were a bad batch of lowers, I'm not sure but just throwing this info out there...

I have two, they both have about 500 rounds through them without so much as a hiccup.

Search the net. You'll find pics of aluminum lowers that have come apart as well.

For the price they can't be beat and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one, especially for a .22 build. If you can afford more...buy better...but if you're on a strict budget..you'll be fine with a Plum crazy. And they are guaranteed for life.

I had an issue..was told by more than one source that it might be cause the hammer isn't mil spec. So I dremel'd it a bit. That didn't fix my issue (turned out to be the upper) but when I called Plum Crazy...they didn't hesitate to send me out a new hammer at no cost. I'm a satisfied customer.
