Well I am Screwed!!

Last weekend I took a 10/22 cheapo rifle I picked up at turners
I decide to change the stock, do the mag release modification and ease up the trigger a bit.
So I striped the rifle down made the changes on the trigger, then the stock.
Everything went Perfectly!

Fast forward 2 hours later when I realized, it was easy and I am now looking to make a few more mods and picking up a few parts and and and and I think I have 10/22 fever! So I am screwed, I think I must build a custom 10/22 now and spend money, sigh**

Advice: build it right the first time. Its cheaper when you only have to buy parts once

I have the same bug. I started a few weeks ago with a used target model but I have enough parts and plans that I need a second receiver all ready. So I took the target stock and stained it kind of purply for my wife and daughter.

I installed a bipod stud on my oem 1022 stock and that all it tool the next day i had ordered over 600 bucks in parts, dont fight it its going to happen no matter what

Got the 10/22 bug once and at one point had about 7 of them in different configurations. Now I'm only left with 2. A customized one and one which is almost stock, but more of a handy compact version.

When I started my 10/22 project i was married. By the time I was finished with it, I was also finished being married. But my 10/22 and I are much happier now.

i know the feeling,i mod-ed mine in to a full archangel package and 2 yrs later i now want to mod it in to a m249 saw package....had the gun since 1992 so i love my hi-caps...

Worse yet, you'll get your custom 10-22 done, and then you'll look at the M1 Carbine-style stock and think, hmm....

Kind of like I'm doing now, darn it.
