I purchased an Advantage Arms. They lock back. But thanks for checking.

Congrats. No problem, I've been wanting to shoot my conversion for awhile now. We should do a range trip and shoot conversions.

The SM Ace is costly for sure and with the floating chamber the accuracy
is not as good but the feel/trigger/grip and weight are identical to my Colt
45 autos--the pistol is all steel so it won't ever wear out plus it looks
        really cool. Pete

I have a SM Ace that has rounded the slide stop notch twice through heavy use, so the slide won't stay locked open. I have many thousands of rounds through it. Accuracy is decent, but not outstanding.

I also have a Marvel Precision Unit 1. No last round slide lock, but accuracy is pheonomenal and reliability is outstanding. It has a hybrid rail so I can use the built in adjustable sights or mount an optic designed for a Picatinny rail.

The one I have my eye on is the new unit designed by Bob Marvel.. It's being sold by Nighthawk Custom http://www.nighthawktactical.com/22-...ion-units.html I'm waiting for further refiniement on it so that it matches the accuracy of the Marvel Unit 1 then Ill probably pick one up.
