you can change the barrel out as well as the trigger to give a better pull

        Thanks for the tips!

10 days is too long a wait. It allows for more time to consider buying more add-ons before I even have rifle in hand.

How about something like this to go with your new 10/22

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The newer 10/22s finally come with a extended mag release.
I would suggest the addition of the auto bolt release and either a hammer and spring kit ($40) or hammer, spring and sear kit ($70) from either Power Custom or Volquartson.
You may also want to buy an extractor ($8) from either company if your gun does not extract and eject reliably.
Otherwise you are good to go.

Optics or a red dot? Up to you...yes, a mount comes in the box.

Then again, the sky is the limit...

after my first 10/22, I replaced all my extractors with volquartsen extractors, even on my MkIIs. It's a cheap part that I feel increases reliability and reduces frustration.

                      Awesome.

I say go buy lots of ammo and really learn how to shoot it well.

I just put the Volquartsen bolt catch release and extended magazine release on mine last week. Used them for the first time on Sunday... very happy! Also ordered some tech sights but they haven't come yet.

Dead Nutz Game Reaper scope mount is the only way to go. Super high quality product and they dont rip you off by charging too much. You can get them for ~$40 on Amazon.
