    which walmarts sell ammo?

I live in the south bay/long beach area and frequent the I.e. often. I have been to several walmarts that say they do not sell ammo. Does anyone know the method to this madness? Is it just la stores that do not carry ammo? Does anyone know the closest Walmart that does? I live in San Pedro currently.

All I know is Contra Costa, Yolo, and Alameda counties have some stupid ordinance that doesnt allow stores like Walmart or Sports Authority to sell ammo. Sometimes I swing by the Walmart in Dixon to check for MiniMags, they have a pretty low sales tax too. Its only 8.5 or something

In the IE, I know that the Redlands store does; they are usually pretty well stocked.

I go to Huntington Beach (Beach/Talbert) and the one in La Habra (Beach & Imperial Hwy). The H.B. store probably is better stocked more often in my experience.

Was at the Duarte store today (210 freeway and Mountain) and they stock ammo, but supplies were very low. Some .38 special, 357 SIG, .357 magnum, and .25 Auto were all that were left. In terms of rifle ammo, I saw a lot of .223 available.

Also, they have a six box limit.

WalMart in Cerritos/Artesia off the 605/91, which is also near Ammo Bros and Insight Range, so you can hit all 3 places within 3 miles of each other. I was at all 3 yesterday and got 600 rounds of ammo at walmart, DROS'd 2 guns and went shooting for 2 hours.

Here's some WalMarts. They have a store finder page. Get on the phone and start asking.

In my experience some of those WalMart folks answering the phone at the switchboard have no idea if they sell ammo. Works better to get Sporting Goods on the line and ask the clerk.
