In my area of the IE, all Walmarts sell ammo. And by all, I mean three. Redlands, Colton, and Highland. Highland tends to have the best selection, and Redlands won't sell it after 10pm. Colton will. I don't know if the Highland one stops at 10.

Wal-Mart in Foothill Ranch on Towne Centre drive sells ammo.

Wal-Mart in Santa Ana DOES NOT sell ammo, although they sell some cleaning supplies.

Wal-Mart in Irvine- oh, wait. There is no Wal-Mart in Irvine. Lame.

Walmart in City of Industry, off the 60 freeway and Azusa exit. At least last time I was there about a year ago.

Thanks guys. Sounds like the WalMart in Cerritos/Artesia would be best for me as I hit Insight shooting range often and it'd be on the way. I was getting sick of calling stores and dealing with the employees on the phone (who have no clue about anything)

Last time i was at McCarthy, all they had was a little shotgun ammo. No .22s, no handgun ammo.

Modesto \ McHenry store had "everything" in stock this morning. I even bought a box of 16 gauge - ok now they are out of that but still.....22 LR, 223, light on the .357, .38, 45, plenty of trap / bird shot and numerous rifle rounds.

Cerritos has a good supply. Just picked up 4 boxes of CCI Mini mags today for $6.49 each

The one in Pico is closest to me, but due to the 10% tax there I usually go to the one in Cerritos where it's 8% (don't laugh)
