I know plenty of 16-18 year olds who are completely knowledgeable and develop their own opinions, and while they may not be the majority, they do exist. 16-18 year olds have to pay taxes if they work, yet they have no say in the laws and taxes passed. I think that to vote at ANY age you should have to take a competency test that will show the ability to make and support your opinion, show that you are informed on current events, and that you can interpret a ballot and see what is actually being voted on. More later, leaving starbucks.
YIKES!!! I have landed on Mars.

I wish this would fit in my sig. The comments I read on calguns are shocking sometimes. Can you even start to imagine with trash that would get voted on if we let 16 year olds vote?

      Absolutely amazed at your views.

The 1st of Feb has come and gone but I will still be stocking up on 22lr ammo. I go through about 750 to 1000 rounds a month so I need to keep adding to my stash.

XDRoX has a point. No taxation without representation. You're not my representative if I can't vote for you. (I am 29 just talking as if I was 16-17.)

Does that also apply if a person is 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years old? The line has to be drawn somewhere doesn't it? 16 or 18 or 21 doesn't make a person smart enough or dumb enough to vote. We pass laws to try to have a reasonable age where a person is allowed to vote. That's how it works. Your representative is your representative whether you voted for them or not. That's the way our government works, like it or not. President Obama is the President of all Americans, even me and I did not vote for him. If we all get to have our own President that's called anarchy.

Back on topic, I'm still amassing ammo.

You didn't specify what type of 22lr but here is a link to a really decent High Velocity Hollow Point 38gr, copper washed round. Shipping is free and pretty quick. I have ordered 3 cases from these folks recently.

Bought a bulk pack of CCI Blazer @ Big 5 today. Was on sale for $20.

It was nice not having to deal with any potential crap on this post AB 962 time period.

I worry about stock piling lead .22 in a state where any day Jerry Moonbeam could sign a law making it illegal to shoot lead ammo of any type.

What would we do with the 25K+ rounds of ammo of all types with lead in the bullets we've all been stockpiling?
