    Henry .22 lever action

Does anyone have any experience with the Henry .22 lever action rifle? Are they accurate and reliable?

Just got one and its a fun gun to shoot
its accurate but the sights are OK but it needs a good set of peep sights.

Great rifles. The Henry's come in several forms: H001 - basic , H001T - fancier with an octagon barrel and the H004 "Golden Boy" with a octagon barrel & brasslite receiver. The H001 and the H001T have dovetail grooves built into the receiver cover, the H004 requires a special scope mount available for extra. You can also get a large loop lever instead of the standard.

My H001 gets the most attention when I take new shooters to the range. For the price, you can't go wrong and Henry's customer service is outstanding.

great guns, but my sights sucked. I threw a little scope on there and its a campsite favorite!

I believe the only plastic on my H001 is the front barrel strap. I believe you can buy a steel one directlly from Henry if you want to switch it out.

I love my Henry lever action.

A friend of mine has one with a hex barrel. We were hitting a 4" steel plate at 175 yards with iron sights with little hold over. Great little rifle!

there was a girl at a rimfire shoot last weekend that was nailing targets with one. everyone else had semi and she was banging away timed fire with the lever action.. pretty cool
