Which one to get?

Well, after starting this thread and sitting in my truck this morning getting ready to go to Pomona to buy a 15-22, I started thinking about it some more.

Even tho they are all cool looking rifles, I just can't justify spending $500 for what is still a .22 rifle. I have the money, so that isn't the problem, it's just paying that much that bothers me. I guess it's pre buyer's remorse.

I know, I asked for a lot of info and you all responded, but after all this trouble, I'm going to try and buy a used 10/22. I don't want the newer one after reading here about the blueing problems (paint peeling off) and the plastic trigger. I've already put a thread in the WTB forum, so I'll see what happens.

No problem! I betcha everyone loves posting and talking about this stuff.

Having FUN is what it's about for us...and whatever you get will hopefully make you happy too.

btw, the 10/22 I bought in 1977 was SOOOO AWESOME...I loved that little rifle and (of course) wish to hell I'd never sold it mid-eighties.
