walmart in Vacaville had some Federal bulk packs of .22 last time I was there but you could only buy one per customer. So I bought one and luckily my Dad was with me too....and they were $18.87 a piece I think.

Modesto has had Federal Bulk Packs in stock consistently for a couple of months now.
It used to be gone as soon as it arrived, but now it just sits there. Must have something to do with the price increase.

I think you're gonna only get 20% off one box though, based on what I've read. YMMV.

19 is pretty much what you are going to pay. I just got back from the East Coast and all the Wally worlds were selling bulk packs for 19ish

Also, the prices of copper and brass have gone up dramatically the last couple years.

                        Guys,

Just got back and called two additional stores. Big 5 sell them for 24.99 for the 500 round federal and all out of stock. Two other stores are out of the bricks too.

My local walmart has been getting better with all the ammo in stock. I saw 45ACP for my first time since being introduced to firearms not too long ago. They also had bulk .22lr, 9mm, .40 and tons of rifle calibers. I bought a box of .22lr for about 19 bucks. Seems everyone got all of their hoarding done already.

I think the ones to blame would be the ones that bought the ammo to resale at inflated prices!
"I will not buy ammo from the private ammo sellers,it only encourages them to keep buying ,and reselling the ammo they bought from WAL-MART at 2-3 times what they bought it for"!

                              yep.

I'm selling some 22s on BST for 4 dollars less a brick than I paid because I'm not selling Walmart 22s at inflated prices, but I have to deal with the lower expected prices that people have thinking it's walmart ammo.

There are plenty of people who joined last year then made a killing selling 30 dollar 100 pack of 45acp for 50 a pack and 13 dollar(at the time) 22 bricks for 25. How do you know? those are the ones with the threads first posts all deleted because they are afraid people will find out they are habitual Walmart resellers.

Now we all have to deal with 19 dollar a brick of 22s at Walmart if they are available at all.
