When did Wal-Mart raise the price on the federal bulk 550 pack from $15.00 and change to almost $19.00?

I went and bought 10 boxes cause i have not seen them in abought two months .The last time i got some it was under $16 a box .

Capitalism happened. Demand goes up so does the price. This little ammo drought that we went through in the last year has given the manufacturers and retailers a reason to up the price. Always happens when things are hoarded. Just business.

I went to WM @ City of Industry and only one box of Winchester 555 for $19.99 and went to the WM in Phillip Ranch and they dont even carry ammo at all.

Supply and demand. I paid $22 a pop for Federals bulks in Nevada (Cabelas), so $19 a box local would be something I personally wouldn't complain about.

Seems all across the board ammo has doubled in the last few years.

Walmarts ammo prices is far better any where else. but they run out real fast somedays. It's better than Big5's. I find the Temecula store has em most of the times.

at least the walmart you go to sells ammo, I gotta travel almost half an hour and pay bridge toll to find a walmart that sells ammo. By the time I pay for gas and bridge I might as well have bought online. Not to mention their ammo case is behind a counter that customers aren't allowed behind and the *** hats aren't too friendly about finding the specific stuff you're looking for.

Yeah... not all Walmart sell ammo. U gotta call first. Three local WM close to me and only one sell ammo.

walmarts prices are typically better then big5... but big5 often has 20% off coupons which changes the game with ammo prices.
