MrPlink, regular A2 front sight, as in fixed on the barrel? Not I. I don't see why not though, but maybe someone has a reason why it wouldn't work. Let us know if you try it and how it works out. Post a pic too.
I just got some Troy A2 front flip sights that mounted on the rail. Still waiting on my rear flip sight .....

here's mine... 3.5 lbs, barrel reduced in length (finish w/ brake at 16.1") and diameter, Carbon FF tube, and weight reduced in "buffer tube"

Just picked mine up from gun jail yesterday! 200 rounds of mini mags, 50 aguila hi velocity and 50 aguila standard.
Only one ftf from the standard aguila.
Very happy so far. the rifle is def more "accurate" than I am. I'm still getting used to the sights though, as I'm an AK guy and have rather limited experience with these types of irons.The California Moderate Centrist Militia member in exile

Now to zero in your iron sights. The indoor rifle range near my house is only 25yards, so I'm zeroed on that for now. I went off the following PDF (via the link) which was extremely helpful as I had no experience with A2/A3 sights either -
Print it out and take it to the range. Don't worry about the table on the first page just yet, just following the check list.
You rear sight is an A3.
It'll be interesting when you get to step 4 to raise your elevation, if you have to raise it that is. I have a TROY flip sight on the front and that had to be adjusted. I was shooting low at 25 yards and had to adjust the sight post clockwise with a tool that I purchased for $10. Some guys use bullets but it's impossible with .22 caliber, at least I found it to be, and the tool made for an easy adjustment.

thanks for the file! Im sure it will help me get it fine tuned. Just having a general knowledge of how these things work I think I got it for the most part.
Front sight def needs to be adjusted on mine, unfortunately I didnt figure out that it was adjustable until I got home.
