Yeah JK . Back on topic. I'll be getting a 17HMR soon. A CZ452 Varmint I cant effing wait. My heavy barreled 10/22 has dropped more squirrels than I can count but at the same time I have taken shots at 125+ yards where they make it back to their hole. Hopefully the 17 bridges the gap and It will do good on yotes at a certain distance. Benbangui what area is the property your hunting on in? Looks nice. I've got a lot of property down here to hunt on in the islands and on a good day get 40+ ground squirrels in a few hours!

in the islands? its private property that my friends aunt owns and takes me out to whenever i get a chance he wont let me say

You will like the 17 HMR. The big decision is if you want to use the 17 grn or 20 grn bullets. On a breezy day though the shots can get a bit tough.
