It's been a long time since I shot my 10/22 but ok. I'll take it out and post pictures of the targets.

Will shoot from 50 yards. I'll even go to Chabot same place as 85FourEyedGT

You mean you threatened to post pics that you don't even have??

To the OP, thats fine shooting.
No government deprives its citizens of rights without asserting that its actions are "reasonable" and "necessary" for high-sounding reasons such as "public safety."
A right that can be regulated is no right at all, only a temporary privilege dependent upon the good will of the very government
officials that such right is designed to constrain.

There is nothing like a Marlin .22lr for very inexpensive and reliable tack driving. I have a model 795. VERY reliable and extremely accurate. I paid $102 +DROS+tax four years ago for mine.

I've got a marlin 795, marlin 60, and a revelation 150m by marlin. (Last one was made for western auto in the 70's) And by far the most accurate one is the revelation by marlin from the 70's. They're great guns and marlin has some really accurate .22lr's from the factory, but not much for upgrades on the trigger or other parts.

The only thing left that's Ruger on the rifle is the receiver

The Volquartsen barrel loves Wolf Match ammo. It used to shoot really, really tight groups. I hope it still does

no its not fair against your old 783 and the federal 22 mag
lol, lets see if capitol can still shoot single ragged holes with his ruger and match ammo
