    Ruger Super Wrangler

Well hot dog, ruger just checked all the boxes for what I was looking for in a plinker. Adjustable sights, 22LR/22WMR cylinders, 5.5in barel.

That silver one is tickling my fancy!

I was literally at the LGS contemplating between a Heritage RR and a Wrangler and really wanted the adjustable sights convertible cylinder, but liked the Wrangler a little better from a brand / fit n finish perspective. Guess ill wait till these hit the shelves!

Turner’s is going to have them for $269 (I know it’s Turner’s). Put a deposit on a silver one a couple days ago. Should arrive late April/early May.

.22 Mag cylinder, 5.5" barrel, and adjustable sights under $300 and from Ruger? This is a winner.

If these had come out a few years ago I would've bought one instead of a single six.

One of the main reasons I just bought the Rough Rider over the Wrangler was the cylinder swap to fire .22 mag, guess I gotta buy a Super Wrangler now.
            Aw shucks.

I suspect this will eat into the Rough Rider market……

                Ruger has a winner here!

I likely won't buy one since I already have a Single Six (6-1/2 bbl) but the new Super Wrangler would be a fun plinker.

I wonder if they'll come out with a longer barrel version?

Looking forward to a range report if one of you guys buys one.

I wish they would have a standard Wrangler with the two cylinders. I like the plain iron sites like I have on my Vaquero but I would like to be able to shoot either .22lr or .22mag

And the Single Six market as well.

Same here. I had to settle for Ruger New Model Single Six Convertible, Model: 0629. A few more bucks yet, it is all steel and a step above the Super Wrangler.

The problem there is that the single six sells for twice as much if not more. I have a hard time dropping that much on a plinker

A while back another member here got a Ruger Wrangler in the bronze finish. At the time I thought that I personally would have gone for the black or silver finish (because bronze is for working with your desert tan camo gear or something more modern, not for cowboy revolvers.) but after having seen a few different images of all three of them side by side...

That bronze finish has really grown on me.

So it proves I can be wrong.

Well at least just this one time.

Sounds like there IS a market for a Wrangler Convertible alongside a Super Wrangler.

Adjustable sights makes it a buy for me, as well as the magnum. I'll be looking for one ASAP.
