Got one for my Glock 30 and change the sights to match. I like it and it does save me ammo cost.

I have one for my g17. Love it!

You can get a speed loader to help with loading.

Have one for the 17/22. Works good with Golden Bullets or mini mags. Those of you having issues, label your magazines and see if the problem follows a magazine. I had 2 out of 6 magazines giving me 99% of all the problems. I sent them back and they extanged them.

I have used one on my g19. I picked it up for shooting action pistol with the Coyote Point Rifle and Pistol club until I became a full member and could shoot centerfire. It worked “okay” for me. I had a lot of issues with the slide going slightly (1/4”) out of battery when going into the holster. I had to make sure I pushed the slide closed once holstered, if not, it was a guaranteed FTF with a tap/rack to get it working. Also, the recoil spring is pretty weak and the rt thumb of my giant hands sometimes drags on the slide and causes double-feeds. I got a lot of practice with clearance drills. When not using a holster it worked pretty well but needed a cleaning about every 100rds to keep it running.

A bit ammo picky to function. Hence, we just use CCI...

I have 2 of them. Both are problematic. Neither seem to want to go fully into battery. Lots of malfunctions. Wouldn't buy again.

Which ammo? I've tried a bunch with no luck.

I owned one for about a month- it did not function enough (multiple failures per magazine, with each magazine) to be enjoyable. We're talking extensive testing with a variety of CCI mini mags, stingers, velocitors, not to mention anything else I tried.

Want to shoot glocks in .22lr? Simple - get a Glock 44 - thousands upon thousands of rounds through them, no hickups with any (>=1200fps) ammo. Shot tons of federal blue box (yes, the only ammo so bad that you could get it when 22 was non-existant), armscor (dirtiest of them all), federal auto match, rem gb, winchester bulk 333/555, winchester super X, american eagle, aguila super extra duper, cci, you get the point. They're off roster, but they're worth it if you are into 22

I've owned a couple, one for 17/34 and one for 19/23. Neither ever failed with Minimags, solids or HP. The 17/34 went to a shooting buddy so his kids could shoot his 17. I run the other on both of my 19s.
I use them for cleap, relatively quiet practice, and for new or rusty shooters. I use four small drops of Break Free on them when I mount them on the frame, and don't run them with holsters.
I also own a Kimber 1911 conversion and a CZ Kadet kit. Same results with both of them.
                          As with all things, YMMV.

Haven’t had a good experience with that kit either. Failure to feed, randomly doubled, failure to fire… with different kinds of ammo (including cci mini mag) and with bone stock gen 3 g17 frame

Just my $0.02, get a Glock 44 or have your kid shoot a buckmark… or maybe just load 9mm into the Glock one at a time until they can have enough recoil control to load more in the mag

Edit: or reload minimum load (~110 power factor reduce recoil 9mm) aka steel challenge ammo to make it easier to use that glock

Mini Mags work the best so far with my 2 AA's, but the reliability is still poor. I have one or two malfunctions per mag.

I see. I guess it is truly YMMV.

That said, not all Mini Mags works, at least for me... See my screenshot - am using the HP flavor.

True that... I had a bunch of Atlanta Arms ammo for steel challenge. I think it was so low recoil that my kid loved it. Wanted him to continue with it so he enjoy more in the local matches until he could step up to the required power factor. Unfortunately, Atlanta Arms stopped shipping to California. Oh well, reloading is the way - I have a 750 that I still have not opened in at least 2-years now.
