A follow up to this thread.....I just ordered from Buds the basic Buck Mark Camper and one extra Browning magazine. It should arrive at my FFL within 3-5 business days from today.

I ordered the cheapest blued one. I am going to make this as the foundation for a build in the future, hence the reason for going with the cheapest model.

Thank you all for your feedback and contribution.

DArBad, That's exactly what I did about a year ago. It was my first ever purchase from Buds. I now have 5 magazines.

Nice. Have you done any upgrading? I know most Browning Buck Mark are good guns. But what I am asking really is.....changing/upgrading just for the heck of it.

Thanks for that, " newbie1234 "^^^^^^^^. Lots of money sank into that thing. Its a good template. The black color of the pistol is aesthetically pleasing.

I know I want a TandemCross Victory Trigger, perhaps a different upgraded grips for starter.

I have been wanting a Buckmark for a while. My daughter and I shoot 22s regularly and I wanted a Buckmark to add to the lineup.

This thread prompted me to pull the trigger on a UDX from Buds. Guess I have to buy some more magazines.

The Burris FF3 on Outer Impact mount is the lightest and lowest to the bore red dot setup for the UDX.

I will do the paperwork for my Camper on Thursday.

Browsing through the internet, I saw a grip adapter for the Browning Buckmark, made by an outfit called Striplin Custom.

Striplin Custom sells an adapter metal plate so one can use 1911 grips on their Browning Buckmark and Ruger Mark Series. Just wondering if there are any Buckmark owner on the forum who have any experience with this. If there are, kindly post your feedback.

                      Thanks.

Hi Brad H, just arrived from my LGS and I just did the paperwork. Pick up is after 7/11. But I was told to call before coming in to be sure that DOJ processed things on time. I was told, there are lots of delayed cases. Just an FYI.

Yea, I got the same thing. My FFL told me that he is seeing 11 days typically, but he has seen as much as 16. I guess it is a race to see who get their gun first.

Excellent choice! I highly recommend additional magazines and a McFadden Ultimate Cliploader.
