OOS already, other sources also say OOS or Allocated. Ruger will have to catch up with demand!

Saw a black one at a LGS yesterday but didn't realize what it was until I saw this thread later and was on limited time to pickup a transfer pistol. May get back to check it out later, didn't look at price.

4/19 the salesman said it was the only one that came in today and first some of them saw tonight.

Just got a call from Turner's Orange saying that my silver Wrangler is at the store ready for me to start the DROS! Hope to get by there tomorrow.

I pre ordered mine at the Turners in Signal Hill and they never even called me. I just went in for some ammo and I asked if they heard anything and they said, "No....but they came in..." like uhh ok? The lady goes to the back to look for my serial number and "can't find it," until her coworker comes out with it. Point being, be proactive and call or visit the store you pre ordered yours cuz apparently they were just in the back chilling.

Update, Turners Modesto called me, mine is in, I will go in tomorrow and DROS it

Turner's in Fresno said that they don't have any in yet and are expecting end of May to mid June. They will call when they arrive.

My new Bronze Wrangler came in today. Yea fun new toy. Got to LOVE it for just $199.
Good points:
• Pretty- everyone was asking about it at my range
• Light and well balanced so it’s easy to point and sight
• the front sight blade is thin so it is nicely proportioned for the slot and barrel length
• Grips feel great, they have an aggressive checked pattern that is perfect for a good hold.
• Very good grouping, indoor with a white “pick you parts” target at 7 to 18 yards it made groups about 1.5”.
• I shot 200 Winchester LR through it reliably.

Rough Points:
• The loading gate is very very hard to open, ouch.
• The trigger pull was a bit heavy so I did “poor man’s trigger job” on it and got it below 3#. (TOO light for a novice or youth.)

Went in to Turner's Reseda to see if my pre-order from 4/22 had come in. Nope. The guy said that they were only getting in "a couple" a day, so it may still be a while for me.

Thanks for the info. $5 cheaper vs $30 DROS+FEE at Turners. Less than 30 mins paperwork at the store on a good day at Riflegear.

Why would Ruger push the initial release date out another month? What benefit does that buy them? Does making the handguns and then keeping them in storage for up to a month sound like a particularly good idea? Why wouldn't they want to get them out and realize the sales/money?

If the revolver is delayed, perhaps some other factor is in play. Possible problems with the production line or supplies?

When dealing with high volume manufacturing, many elements need to be dealt with to meet the demand. Raw material orders and forecasting, tooling, manpower, the flow of everything from beginning to end has to be adjusted to the demand.

This takes time, common with all manufacturing industries. This does not surprise me in the least.

i'll have to watch them for re-stock, since i haven't ever seen riflegear do "pre-orders"
