I loved my Bearcat like no other gun ever probably, but once I went K22 I was hooked. I don't really care if a plinker has an authentic action, I just want it to be fun and easy and look cool.

They don't. At least not in Ruger's pricing scale. Vaqueros are in the same price range as GP-100s.Frank Da TankComment

Turner's does have the Rough Rider on sale at $129.98 this week. That is approximately 38.47% more for the Ruger Wrangler at $179.98 price.
Here is a overview of someone actually having both the RR and RW:
So far the few reviews out, looks good to go at the price. I think I am in as well, it will be a cool change of pace from my 617. I am not a revolver persons, so it sure beats getting a Single-6/10 for $500+.Comment

22 Mag would be sweet. Cool offering though.Comment

Preordering mine tomorrow. I think I will go bronze on this one. Turners says end of May, hope it come the day before or after my son is born.Comment

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

This is much nicer than my Rough Rider, however, it cost twice as much. If I were to do it again I would buy the Wrangler, no doubt better quality and probably a great 22lr revolver. What I do like about my Rider is for a $100 I really don't care what happens to it, and it's really accurate.Comment

I love Ruger SA revolvers and own several. No manufacturer holds a candle to their durability. They really do strike the balance between durability and quality at the right price.
I ordered a bronze one at Turners. I chose the bronze to bring some light into the darkness of all the tactical black firearms in my safe. After tax and DROS, it's was $229.83 OTD.
I challenge anyone here to name a NEW (not a great used deal) revolver that can rival a Wrangler that is, of similar quality at the same price.
My NAA mini cost more than a Wrangler, and it handles CCI Stingers! The wrangler will be a peach to shoot. The wrangler will also be the revolver you keep for self defense when age catches up to you and you can no longer tolerate a centerfire caliber. I can't wait for mine.Comment

Ended up going with black. If the cylinders were the same color as the frame I would have considered burnt bronze or silver.
Mine came out to $193.XX after tax, will have to pay $30 for dros once it comes in. They wouldn't let me pay the dros ahead of time.sigpicComment
