Affordable price. But I like my Heritge Roughrider with fiber optic sights with wood grips.

Doesn't turn me on. I'm not big on aluminum revolvers, or sleeved guns. Life's to short to buy cheap guns. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Priced right for sure, would be nice if they included a .22WMR cylinder

I showed my 3 year old grandson the picture with all 3 colors. I hide the silver and black models with my hands and told him to pick one.

I've never really liked the look of two tone revolvers although it can look okay on some semi auto pistols.

But as mentioned above at that low price you could always just buy the color you like if it was the silver or the bronze and have your cylinder cerakoted waiter if you enjoyed the pistol and thought you would be keeping it.

I'll be waiting for the $249 combo too.

I looked at the Heritage revolvers and passed, just couldn't stomach the quality level. Will definitely have to give the new Ruger a look so that my Henry rimfire can have a companion piece.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Interesting that it weighs the same (30 oz.) as my SP-101 8-shot .22 in all stainless. I wonder where the weight is?

The more I look at this new Ruger, the more I like it. It would be the perfect companion to my Henry H001 lever in 22LR.

I’m not worried about the Ruger having a sleeved cylinder or sleeved barrel. My Henry H001 has a sleeved barrel and it is the most accurate 22 rimfire I’ve owned in over 40 years.

I wonder how long it will be before someone strips the coating off and gives them a nice polish.

I must agree - Ruger bean counters have struck again. Lots of molded metal parts and spray paint finish.
