    Marlin 795 in a ACR

Paid $70 shipped for this broken airsoft gun

Just finished gutting and bolting it in. Took me 1.5 hours so far.
I should be done with this in a week.

    Upper receiver is metal
Lower receiver and stock are plastic

    Things to do.
Purchased the missing handguard with rails
    Drill hole for safety button
Extended lever for mag and bolt release
Add a gutted PMAG and JB Weld the 795 magazine to it
    Repaint flat black
    Add AFG

Side question, i cant view any pics from imageshack because a frog in an icecube says the Calguns domain is unregistered. Can all of you view images in this and other threads?

Most of the pics in the last few pages I checked are on photobucket or flicker, not sure why you're getting imageshack errors.

I can see any non-imageshack image just fine, but never since i join Calguns can i see an imageshack image, only a frog in an icecube where the pic is supposed to be. And this by the way is on various PCs and operating systems.

It's because imageshack disabled hotlinking unless the owner of the website(calguns.net) registers the website(calguns.net) with imageshack. This is a recent(well, a long time, but it was done after this thread started) change imageshack has made. Hence imageshack sucks and people are using other hosts now.

Then maybe people should switch to photobucket. Dont the uploaders themselves know their images arent been seen?

I got 2 795's from big 5 a little bit back. Both had the trigger go dead around 100 rounds. Turns out there is a pin that walks out and jams the sear disconnect. Anybody else have this issue, or deal with Marlin for warranty stuff?

Mine is back at the factory with a sight problem, i havent shot it yet. In this case they sent me a mailing label and it takes 4-6 weeks to get it back and they were nice enough.

My new 336W had to be sent back too but they refused a mailing label and it cost $21 at UPS.

Yup. I have nothing against existing marlins, but I will never even consider buying a new one unless they change owners again. Until then, I frankly hope they go bankrupt so that the designs can be bought by a competent manufacture.

ive been doing videos explaining what i did in retrospect.

ill be doing more videos of take downs and resassembly so you guys can see the internals.

i cant do play by play because most of the builds ive done, havent been done before. so i couldnt really record or take pictures at the time because it was mainly trial and error.
