Yes, but how do you know a gouger won't buy from you and then resell? To help prevent this we will need to check out past selling histories of potential buyers and maybe limit sales of 1-2 per person.

I sometimes do this on my own, selling extra bricks of .22lr to friends and relatives at cost that I pick up. I like to leave some ammo for others wehn I find it at Walmart and I sometimes do, not always buying my limit. Sometimes I do buy my limit though and spread the wealth at my cost.

La Quinta Walmart had (4) boxes of Federal Bulk Red Box yesterday, until I purchased them. Sorry to clean them out guys, but everytime I go there the shelf is empty.

I am thinking of going back since they had 100 rnd boxes of .223 for $39.

On a bright side, I'm starting to notice more ammo at the local shops but the hording or possibly a purchase for profit still seems to be around. I saw some ammo yesterday morning at the WM and posted here but seems that they were all picked up in less than a hour and many have missed out on the pickings.

How about if we pick up extra ammo and offer them up for sale "at cost" to the members to offset those scalpers on other board?

To start, I have three (3) spare boxes of Federal Auto Match (325rd) packs.
I'll offer them for $15 a box, one (1) per member. I think these were around $16 with tax couple of months ago at WM, correct me if I'm wrong.

PM me and you can pick it up at my work (Costa Mesa) between 6am-3pm M/F or at home (Mission Viejo) 5pm-9pm.

It's the 550 rnd bulk box. I have seen the Blue box, but the ones I got yesterday were red.

I have yet to score any of the blue box. I believe they are marked fed champion and are 525 rounds? The "red box" 550's are very rare to find in my area.

I've had slightly more luck with Win 333's,fed Lightning, and Winchester HV xpert. Have not found any of the Win white box non HV xpert stuff either.

You are correct. The blue box is Federal Champion 525 rnds., and the red box Federal is 550 rnds.

My Spikes upper loves the Federal blue box bulk. Hopefully she runs the same with the red box. They are both 36 grains, but the velocities listed are different.

Is champion a copper washed hp at 1280fps like the 550's? it seems most Spikes owners like the 550's saying the Rem golden bullet hp bulk packs suck. I have an extra brick of Win xpert hv hp I may sell at cost to a spikes owner, I wonder if they will work in her gun? I doubt it being more of a truncated shape. I wonder if anyone is having luck with Win 333'as and Spikes?

The Federal Champion Blue box is Copper Plated Hollow Point @1280fps with a 3.4" drop @ 100 yds.. The Federal Red Box 550 rnds. is 1260fps with a 5.6" drop at 100 yds.

Not shooting enough. It's too damn hot to go shooting, unless I go at 5am. I am stocking up for winter. It is currently 113 blazing degrees down here.

I picked up 2000 rounds today by visiting all the wally worlds in my area. I even got lucky and scored on 400 rounds of 45 acp. Clean'em out baby!!

FYI as of 3pm this afternoon the Big 5 @ 11060 San Pablo ave El Cerrito had 8 boxes of Remington golden bullet value paks 525ct for 24.99 limit 1 per customer get'em while ya can!

I'm in Newport Beach--been checking Huntington Beach and Anaheim Wal-Marts, nothing there for the past two weeks

If I could snag a brick from somebody, I'd be really happy....brand new Marlin 795SS and not a bullet through it
