There was another n00b trying to sell 43 bricks of federal 375 22lr today. I made a remark on him raiding all the walmarts and he actually PM'd me to confirm. HE said he went to 7 walmarts everyday for 3 weeks to round these suckers up. in his defense, he was looking for 9mm but could not find any. He bought the 22s knowing that he would be able to trade them to other walmart raiders. This has to stop. It is a domino effect that is creating this secondary ammo market that has been completely created by fear and greed.

I'd be totally cool with the guy trading his .22's for 9mm if it was bulk OTD price comparable. The carpet bagging is what sucks.

Yup, I noticed that. I hella wanted to comment, but figured all that's going to happen is he'll cry threadcrapping.

There should be a minimum number of posts required before you're allowed to post in the for sale section. I was on another forum that required at least 10 posts before you're allowed to post something for sale. At the time that prevented me from posting and I thought it was stupid, now I totally understand.

The funny thing is, he wasn't even trading it for equal value. If I'm not mistaken, those Fed. bulks are about equal to a box of Blazers or Federal 9mms from WW, yet he wanted 4 boxes of 9 for 3 of his 22.

In the 1911 forum you need a minimum of 45 posts in order to place a for sale thread. 45 seems appropriate since it's a 1911 forum.

He had them for sale first and after my PM reply, he pulled the sale prices off and went with trade only even though the title still read 'FS'.

The funny thing is that one of the the other post from another 22 ammo reseller was to tell the guy that he wasn't somehow following forum rules but bumping within 24 hours even though he hadnt done it. Looks like there is territorial wars going on in the ammo sales forum.

It would be great if they put each other out of business.

No body here wants to hear my opinion or smart aleck remarks so perhaps I'd best keep them to myself....

probably wouldn't need this support thread if there weren't entrepreneurs like yourself.

I read that Warren Buffet started his empire early by buying six packs of coke from his grandfathers store for 25 cents and sold each one individually for 5 cents making a 5 cent profit for every 6 cokes sold.

He's a billionaire now!!!! keep up the good work.

Take a look at these two posts.

When you ask why this thread was closed just remember that since some members can not post without ragging on other member they get threads closed.

Don't like what someone is selling something for?
