One they have a special for $159.99 shipped with BCG or whatever insane price, I'm sure they will be popular, hahah.

I would have ordered one in a heartbeat a couple years ago, had they been available. I spent about 20% more on a DPMS .22 LR upper instead, because it was available.

Yeah I got a CMMG pencil on a NFA poly lower for a light setup but might do another.

DPMS and CMMG 22 uppers are pricey. I'll buy a Palmetto if the reviews are good.

Yup, CMMG used to go on sale a lot - I think mine was under $400... $600 prices now are too high.

+1. Need review befo I buy. And just to make sure- for rimfire we can have all the evil features we want /max 10 rounds and rifle/barrel LOA apply/- so no fixed stock, flash hider ok, etc?

Yep... look at a SIG522 or M&P 15-22... if you make it look as cool as those, no worries because it is rimfire. My SIG522 has a adjustable AND folding stock, detachable mags, etc...

Some would say it is a nice thing to have an AR-22 handy with a non-neutered lower ready to PLINK.

They have a few variations under $300... standard carbine setup with D-ring $299... and a floated keymod with Phosphate BCG instead of stainless is $299 too. Dunno if Keymod is robust enough for all the rimfire do-dads to hang off that rail though
