    Ruger 10/22 Optic

I have had a Rugar 10/22 forever and time it add an optic on it. Don't need anything fancy but want something decent. What does everyone recommend?

I like Hawke for decent quality glass. I think the 2-7 or 3-9 AO are just great all around useful magnification ranges.

    These 2 look good...

I'm cheap. I went with a Simmons. It even came with rings.

Still holds zero after a few years of abuse on my 10/22 Accusport LVT Stainless

Similar here, in fact I damaged it and they replaced it no questions asked.

I've been able to reach out to 500 meters and ran out of dial.

3x9x40 Simmons, Bushnell or Burris in my opinion.

Most your shooting will be 25 to 75 yards and a 3x9 will let you see the holes for the most part anywhere along that line. Save the red dots for your AR =o)

I put a Redfield 2x7x33 on my kids. Works great! Probably going to put one on mine as well.

I put a Nikon ProStaff on one of mine. Love it.

I have one with an OLD Simmons 44Mag 6.5-20x AO on it that still works. Those were decent.

I wouldn't hesitate to try a Redfield or Vortex nowadays.
