They've got to compete with the S&W Victory. I might buy one if I could, but I've got a Standard Model and a Mark II that work fine.

        Goddamned CA laws.

Fixed the controls, fixed the takedown, fixed the slide release, no stupid LCI, fixed the mags dropping, and we can't freaking get it.

That's about what the MkIII Hunter went for. The stainless target guns have never been cheap.

                    Blued models have aluminum frames.
Stainless models have stainless steel frames.

I still prefer the MKII models.

Any word on a MK IV 22/45?

Funny, I never heard of Arnzenarms, and it's about 15 miles from me.

Ruger takedown has never been a problem for me, but I do like the idea of no LCI and no internal lock. (but they had then like that 60 years ago)

                            Yep.

I checked out .22 Plinkster's video review and the Mark IV looks awesome. In addition to your description, it also uses Mark III mags, and the trigger has been improved.

But for those of us who are planning to move soon (me next year), the Mark IVs will still be there, waiting to be purchased.

Due to the CA Micro Stamp Regulation, Ruger Mark IV will NOT on the Roster. And the Ruger company does not want to modify their pistol to compliance to the CA regulations.
Oh well, I have to plink with my 20 years old beloved Mark II a little bit longer.
