    GP100 in .22lr

I wonder if Ruger is going to get this CA certified? My wallet hopes not!

I guess I could do an SAE...

This is exciting, I'm hoping they've done a good job with it an I can add one to the collection. 😃

      Geez,a 42 oz. large frame 22 revolver,and a Ruger no less,with a terrible trigger.

I wrote Ruger a few months ago about the GP .22, they told me that they had not started production & might not ever ~ That the GP was a prototype of sorts.

I know everybody is crazy over the S&W 617, but Ruger's SP101-22lr is already stout as hell and will last many generations. Not sure I understand the need for a GP in 22? It'll just be bigger, heavier, and more $$?

Grips on SP-101 are too small.

10 shots, $829 msrp. I'll take the S&W all day over the ruger.

Love a heavy 22. I have been looking to retire my DW M15. Great gun but I'd like something new.,

I'm really not a revolver guy but this one interests me.

The Ruger GP100 and S&W 617 have the same msrp's. I would like to compare the trigger pulls on each revolver before making a decision.

It will also be interesting how the retail prices compare.

Paid a heck of a lot less than that recently for a '55 vintage K22.

Too heavy for a .22, not refined for a range toy.
