    Ruger 10/22 optic advise needed

Really like the magpul x22 stock. Haven't shot my 10/22 for years and thanks Magpul... now I spent money to pimp up the 10/22.

Already bought the keystone bull barrel, BX trigger from Ruger. Now it's time for scope.

I narrow down to BSA sweet, Nikon BDC 150, and Primary Arms 6x Acss 22.

BSA is $50. Nikon and Primary Arms are about the same in $120. I think all of them have good reviews. I also heard the the Primary Arms Acss is now adopted by Acog.

Mine is only a range toy and will shoot upto 100 yards only.

    Which one will you pick?

I have the magpul stock and nikon bdc scope on one of my 10/22's. It's a good looking combo, and I would set another one up like that in a second. Still need to upgrade the trigger and barrel, but that will happen soon.

BSA= better step away. I have a Nikon 3x9x40 it's clear & the objective adjusts easily. Cleaning my 10/22 I dropped the receiver/barrel & it hit the floor on the rear of the scope. It's held zero & I like it.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

I really like my Vortex CFII Rimfire scope, but out of those three, I'd go with the Nikon.

Something about the 10/22 that just screams iron sights, but maybe that's me. I added the Rugar trigger and it's a totally different rifle.

              Hope this helps,

                  This.

I put Tech Sights on 10-22. Works like a charm, much more accurate than Ruger factory sights.

Was at range today helping a family member sight in his new 10-22 with a new set of Tech Sights. I was getting some really nice groups at 25 and 50 yards; did not have time to get it out further than that today.

I have a bunch of .22s with a bunch of optics. This is my favorite:

I put an 4x ACOG with the fiber optic lit red donut- but that's just cos it was sitting in the safe unused. It's fookin RAD.

I have one and it's a great scope, in my opinion it's the best scope for a 10/22 Takedown due to its short length.

I was debating this myself. Saw a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 on slickguns the other day for $127.95, and that was well below any price I'd seen so I picked it up.

Might be a bit overkill for a 10/22 Takedown, but it might work with future purchases as well.

I just put Tech Sights on my Mini 14 and I love them.

I think I'll keep the original sights on the 10/22 as they work pretty well. Plus I've had this rifle for nearly 40 years and I like that it's all original.\
