get a bolt .22 (then you can shoot any 22, CB caps, short, snake and LR)

      I like the CCI quite.
Depends on the actual round under discussion,

Remington Sub Sonic cycles my 10/22 just FINE....and make one hole, 5 shot groups at 25yds from the stock barrel.

The CCI Quiets on the other hand turn it into a single shot.

My old Rem 597 worked fine with Subsonic, and so did my buddy's. Rem says "most advanced 22 auto rifle action" and maybe they sort of have a point.

Subsonic is a heavier round, not necessarily less powerful. But maybe little less recoil IIRC.
Only the Aguila SSS are any heavier (60gr) then other sub-sonic rounds, though many people report serious key holing and accuracy problems out of their rifles with them.

My 1022 cycles with rem subs, aguila subs, 55gr subs, cci subs. Pretty much every sub sonic I have fed it.

My 10/22 eats 40 grain Aquila SuperExtra like candy. The parts combo I used is a Volquartsen exact edge exractor and charging handle. I've put thousands of rounds through the rifle now with very few malfunctions.

American eagle suppressor cycles my 10/22.

                No issues, quiet and accurate.

I can't find it in stock but haven't looked in a while.

CCI sv is my fave. Wolfs great, greasy but accurate. Aguila yellow box LRN is fairly low subs...so yes of course. Have not tried RWS yet or the higher end Remington. C'mon CSA, I'm 50.

It's very rare I use any HV .22, not in the last 3-4 years anyway. I prefer sv.

50 yards rested 12/2014 (cci sv) THINNER (main) grids are 1 inch.

There you go. It looks like your guns cycle standard velocity ammo just fine. Since standard velocity ammo is subsonic, your guns cycle subsonic ammo just fine. Right?

I think the OP's question was pretty clear.
Subsonic 22 ammo mentioned by most RF shooters usually refers to what the manufacturers put on the box. Labeled "subsonic".
If you're not using a chrono or a reliable/accurate ballistic table that states tested velocity then you are left with trusting the manufacturer's marketing department.
If your 22 bullet is going anything less than 1127fsp it is subsonic.
                      BALLISTIC TABLE example.
This is an example of a 22RF ballistics table that you can use to ball park your expectations. Labels are confusing and often misrepresent the true performance of your ammo. This table can help explain why some "subsonic" ammo works and others don't in your 1022. More mind numbing minutia, but the payoff is more realistic expectations before you dump money on ammo.
Do your own homework and testing.

I would say that the OP's question wasn't clear. As a matter of fact, the OP posted the question 3 days ago, and has never checked back in as far as I can tell, so nobody really knows if he meant subsonic as written on the box, or subsonic as less than ~1,100fps.

Everyone is answering the question based on their interpretation, and he's never come back to clarify; so no use in continuing to respond.

It's either subsonic or it isn't, having "subsonic" written on the box doesn't matter.

I agree, but quite a few people seem to be responding based on what's written on the box, so only the OP can say which he meant, or if he even knew that standard velocity is usually subsonic, and target and match almost always is (HV target being the exception).

If that's the case, then the OP may have learned something about ammo.

Not always. There are exceptions to that. SK "High Velocity" is still subsonic. See the listed MV in the first link below.
