                Trijicon Reflex II sight.
Got it of Ebay for fairly low price (compared to a new one). It had screws fused with AR carry handle mount, two screws had stripped heads and one end up braking tip inside. Contacted Trijicon.... After 2 weeks they sent it back fixed and even replaced tritium lamp that I wasn't aware was needed repair. Awesome company and customer service.
After receiving it back, I removed it from AR carry handle mount. cut off section (carry mount) just behind the sight, remaining plate was drilled/tapped with AK side mount and this is how it looks.

I guess it would have been possible to make it even lower, but it's impossible to co-witness with this sight anyway so there's no point in making it any lower. It's actually very easy to get it on target/point.

                Polarizing filter installed.

Awesome work on both optics! +1 on your mad skills.

I sure wish my Polytech AKS came with a side mount on the receiver...but I managed to get by with a somewhat less elegant, yet effective solution.
TWS rail kit. I liked the Krebs better but the cost is prohibitive considering the TWS holds zero and works perfectly.
AK 'purists' may not like what I've done but it works extremely well for me - I still have all the original parts safely tucked away.

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

Russian made solar/tritium AK sight. Obzor.
It's been available for a while in the U.S.
Own quite a few AK optics (propriety and regular), this one so far is my favorite, superior to several Trijicons and I'd take it over Eotech if I had to chose only one. Exceptionally rugged, the best solar cell on any sight I've seen and lightweight.
It might look as though it sits high on the rifle, its non issue as you don't need cheek weld with this optic.

                          solar cell.

                            Solar cell windows.

                            Several pages from it's manual.

                            Reticle.
Daytime (Solar), Night (Tritium only), Dusk/Dawn-ambient light (solar+tritium),

                            Sunlight filter-lever on.

photo little bit darker that in real life.

My current favorite commie optic. Rakurs A1 collimator. My POSP 4x came off and went back in its case. I'll bust it out if I want magnification, but the A1 is the new "always on it" optic. This thing is killer and built like a frickin Russian tractor.
