    Optics

    Aimpoint M-2, ML-2, M-3, ML-3
    Eotech 512, 552

All of them except the GG&G with tritium (only without).

Troy flip-ups are tops, hands down, IMHO.

Optics: you'll have to decide what you want to do with your rifle. If you're shooting for VERY fast acquisition at targets from 0-150yds, then the EOTech rules.

    For 50-200yd shooting, ACOG

Aimpoints might be a better choice if you're a SEAL or need near-infinite battery life.

Personally I'd pick an ACOG with a Docter.

Troy's hands down... I would opt for KAC BUIS but their a bit pricey.

As far as optics goes, I would go with an ACOG with a Doctor red dot. Get both of best worlds of 4X mag with CQB capabilities.

Ultimately, it comes down to the application of your rifle, what you intend to do with it, your price range, and which features of each optics are and are not important to you.

Ask 100 people and you'll get 100 different opinions.

I am in the same boat as you as I am researching optics for my flattop AR15 also for the last two weeks. I am not made of money, so the ACOG is out. I am leaning towards the Aimpoint Comp C3 or a M2/ML2.

I'm curious, why the Aimpoint over the EOTech? Also, where do you live?

I'm pretty sure using the EOTech you'd pick it over the Aimpoint. (nevermind, you're too far )

With the acog I can only get the TA33-8 and TA33-R8. Is there any advantage between red and amber?

Also do you know if trijicon does map pricing? I know the troy buis is pretty much $140 across the board. Unfortunately I HAVE to get the above listen models only.

I have an acog on one of my rifles. Love it. Don't know if this is what you're looking for but botach is running a special on the EOTech 512, 557, and 552. Deal comes with GG&G or Matech flip up sights.

                  Hmm... the BUIS isn't "Free"

You're paying about $60 for it, based upon those prices.

You can do much better - both in price and in companies. Botach is a crap shoot.

If you decide to do that, be sure to get the GG&G... the Matech can be had for much less on Calguns ($55), but the GG&Gs are much more expensive (and more appropriate for a BUIS on a carbine).

Botach is a crap shoot but close enough to show up in person to settle things.

I got the GG&G and realize it's not free, but a pretty hefty discount on a GG&G BUIS with a full price for the eotech. I might still cancel however, it's takes them forever to ship.
