I think I got a fake. Very disappointed. I believe a man when he give you his word.

Maybe he didn't know either. I'm used to high end stuff and this magnifier does not 'feel' high end to me.

How/why did you fall for a fake? Did you buy it from a shop, face to face, online, or eBay? As you know from the links you referenced, there is a ton of Chinese Airsoft crap posing as quality gear (e.g., Aimpoint, ACOG, etc...).

I bought it online auction and was assured it was 'real.' I don't think the seller knew that he was taken either.

I emailed him and awaiting his response. I'm pretty sure it's a fake after carefully examining.

Seller bought it at a Gunshow: The Nations Gun Show in Chantilly. So some fast taking salesman probably took him there.
