My eyes just prefers RED for some reason. Also the same for fiber optics on iron sights. -

Red guy here too, it's just honestly a better color that my eyes can really focus on as opposed to green.sigpicComment

Don't shoot at red targets with a red reticle or shoot at green targets with a green reticle.
In the end I find reticle color really makes no difference in my shooting.
I have an Aimpoint comp m4 and ACOG ta33's, ta11 both red/green. Shape/type of reticle makes more of a difference.
Personal prefs IMO.Comment

Aging eyes with astigmatism the green is noticeably sharper but not as bright in direct sunlight.Comment

I prefer red. Grew up with red laser so red is what's ingrained in me.
Honestly never tried a green reticle yet either so I am biased as well."A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

I thought this thread was going to be about something else. I am disappointed.
