Which reticle color do you prefer (and why if you have a reason based on logic)?

My eyes just prefers RED for some reason. Also the same for fiber optics on iron sights.

Hunting against a green background can present issues as well. On the other hand, the experts tell us that our eyes work better with green.

Red works for me too. I'm now wondering whether the extra cost for green was a scam.

Red guy here too, it's just honestly a better color that my eyes can really focus on as opposed to green.

Red. Aimpoints and rmrs were red back in the day when bought them. so i always use red with all optics these days when buy a new optic. Just easier. Used to it.

Agreed. Seems able to see further with the green laser

Don't shoot at red targets with a red reticle or shoot at green targets with a green reticle.

In the end I find reticle color really makes no difference in my shooting.

I have an Aimpoint comp m4 and ACOG ta33's, ta11 both red/green. Shape/type of reticle makes more of a difference.

Personal prefs IMO.

I prefer red. Grew up with red laser so red is what's ingrained in me.

Honestly never tried a green reticle yet either so I am biased as well.
