68MOA Ring

I tried the PA 2x when it came out and I couldn't stand how small the center chevron was. It was like the cyclops, WAY too small to be used quickly.

Its a shame cause I love the ACSS reticle on the 1-6x scopes.

That's a new one, huh. I found it on their site just now. Bummer about the tiny reticle. You'd think with all the negative feedback on the Cyclops' tiny chevron that they'd figure out how to use a bigger one in future optics. And they designed the body smartly, with the mounting point way forward like an ACOG. It's great if you want to mount a BUIS behind the sight.

Kind of curious though. Why not the 3x prism?... assuming we're just talking about PA options. Definitely has a bigger, better reticle, IMHO.

For me a 3x prism is less desirable due to less eye relief and worse fov (PA option)

Also I can shoot cqb distance very fast with up to 2x but I am slower at 3x.

I am tempted by a trihawk. Eye relief is eh but that fov is amazing. Personally I prioritize fov over mag if I had to pick

I understand what you mean. I have a PA 3x and FOV is a little.... tight I guess. Haven't actually had it out to the desert yet, which is where I shoot. So I can't say what it's like to use it.

One thing about those Swampfox fixed optics, at least with their built-in bases a person can't be tempted to spend extra money on a fancier QD mount.

As I probably mentioned, I have a Cyclops too. Love its FOV, but I was quick to think that the chevron is almost uselessly small. I do notice that when i get my eye well inside of its advertised eye relief, the chevron is a little sharper anyway. I am experimenting with swapping positions of the Cyclops with my BUIS, putting the Cyclops closer to my eye without having to scrunch up on the charging handle so much.

Another thing about the Cyclops, something I really hate, is that it's ridiculously hard to turn the diopter/focus ring! Makes it almost impossible to adjust it while viewing through the sight. Can't get a good enough purchase on the ring to make fine adjustments. Thumb and forefinger pressure is not enough. I've sent emails to PA, but never heard back on that issue. I have no idea if it's designed that way intentionally.

All I can say is if you like the cyclops try a swampfox blade. I really think you will like it
