Friends don't let friends order gun parts from Amazon. Their logistics processes make it way too easy to infect their stock with counterfeits, and their algorithms actually increase the likelihood you'll buy one.

Weird. I just bought an Ameriglo set of handgun night sights from Amazon last week. Arrived the next day. BTW, I was worried that I might end up with fakes, but I compared them with another set I'd bought from Midway recently. If they sent me counterfeit sights, they sent me damned perfect copies anyway. So I think I got lucky.

I went to purchase a PA 1-6x24 scope, which I have purchased before on Amazon and i get this as I try to checkout:

I am so fed up with this $#!+.

This was part of an order of half a dozen items. I'm cancelling everything and going straight to Primary Arms and other vendors for everything.
No problems with SWFA on Amazon. Amazon even offered me a credit card for purchasing the scope.

Before the SWFA purchase I could not purchase another scope that I wanted from a reseller and I know it wasn't a prop whatever either because a year before I had purchased the exact same model scope.

The scope was a Leupold 6.5-20x40 30mm tube.

Try buying a car battery charger that will charge up a severely low battery.
          Nope, can't have it.

Just tried to order Vortex Strikefire as replacement for failed Holosun, nope, nada, neigh. During check out, item red flagged, unable to deliver to address. I changed from street address to PO Box and still same message. Deleted from cart.

Just don't do business with Amazon.. They hacked my credit card at Christmas for almost $6k after my wife joined amazon prime. Charged the membership to all my credit cards too. Then got 3 charges on one card for $1800. Talk about a real PAIN cancelling cards. Bank advised me to lock my credit. :-(

ps. Mama and Daddy solved the Cali problem years ago by moving us to South Carolina

A couple of less reactionary people have already offered suggestions as to why, and it has nothing to do with California laws.

My default address on Amazon and ebay are my PO Box as USPS does not offer residential delivery in my city. When I get that message, I change to my secondary address which is my street address.

Then, the item either arrives to my door via UPS or FedEx, or if sent by USPS it ends up getting routed to my PO box anyway.

Try that next time, I have not had any problems once I figured it out.

I had the same issue ordering a scope from Amazon last night. Shipping address was a street address in CA, not PO Box. The item has a Prop.65 warning on the webpage, so should be no problem to ship. Someone at Amazon forgot to take it off the 'no-sell' to CA list.

I went in circles with Amazon Customer Support via text. The flat out would not understand their error or fix the problem. I gave up. I ended up ordering from another vendor and actually got it for $50 less than Amazon's price. Hopefully it will arrive without any issue.

Now California is banning shipments of mouthwash? What's next?

Just think, in 2023 you'll need an FFL for Scope mouthwash.
