Amazon won't ship scope to CA...

Wtf is wrong with this state and these progressive internet giants that they think they can lawfully restrict interstate commerce.

I went to purchase a PA 1-6x24 scope, which I have purchased before on Amazon and i get this as I try to checkout:

Sorry, this item cannot be shipped to your selected address.

I am so fed up with this $#!+.

This was part of an order of half a dozen items. I'm cancelling everything and going straight to Primary Arms and other vendors for everything.

It's not whether it's carcinogenic, it's whether it has the prop 65 warning. It needs to have legal prop 65 warnings.

100% Prop 65 caused, same reason the dont sell or ship cigarettes or chew..

I did buy a scope for my AR tonight using Amazon but it has no warnings or a need for them so they do ship scopes, just not certain ones.

They are just covering their ***.

Yeah, unfortunately you might have missed the PA boat a bit.... I mean, in terms of deals.... was looking at a PA microdot and price was the same between Amazon and PA... but PA had a 12% off and free shipping deal going on last week, so rare occasion where PA was cheaper than Amazon Prime.

Also no sales tax from PA.

Edited to add: Still free shipping on PA Optics... and still some sales going on with them.... Which leads me to a non-optics related question... anybody have any feedback on Bear Creek Arsenal Upper receivers?

I've had issues sending things to Amazon Locker, not gun related.
Has to be sold by Amazon for the locker I believe.
