I use a 10-round clip because the 30-round ones get caught up on door frames when I'm tacticool role-playing with my M-16 held OG gangstah style.

In the rain, at 50 yards, i got a 2.5" group with my AR/eotech, shooting with less than 3 seconds between shots. At that distance, the dot covers the 2 inch circle i was aiming at, so i'm happy with a group like that. Eotech > Aimpoint (never use aimpoint, but i assume)

It's marked the lower-right corner on the left side. See the F?

You can swap the hood from sight to sight, so that's unfortunately not a perfect indication, but I've never heard of anyone actually doing that.

Eotech says any sight manufactured after February of 2004 is a Rev F. The date should be marked on the bottom.

Will my eotech co-allign with my F marked front triangle iron sight on my A4 flat top?

Yes, it should have absolute co-witness. Only the 511, 512, 551, and 552 have F marks, as all the other models are newer and were made after rev F was introduced, so those all co-witness on a flat top.

Zero your iron sights, then zero your Eotech at the same range. Now you can shoot with the Eotech reticle anywhere in the sight picture, but if you line up the irons, the Eotech center dot should be right on top of the iron sight post.

What Eotech recticle do you have with a dot that covers 2 inches at 50 yds?

                        Clod

The EOTechs center dot is really 1/3 MOA, not 1 MOA, but most people see the dot as the size of 1 full MOA, due to blume effect. He probably sees the dot larger at 50 yards.

The math is 1 MOA = 1 Inch at 100 yards, but when you start closing in to 50 yards the blume effect and peoples eyes screw the math up.

That is why you should never use a Non-magnified EOTech for longer then 200 yard shots. Its a reflex sight best used at under 100 yards, No make that the BEST reflex type sight used under 100 yards.

Eotech specs it at 1 MOA for the center dot and 65 MOA for the outer ring. From their brochure:

The standard reticle is a 65 MOA ring with alignment ticks and a 1 MOA aiming dot.
