I'm sure there's some IDF/Cherries Apparel fanboy website you could probably ask this same question on if what you want are rave reviews to confirm your desire to purchase one.

CAA hartman red dot any input?

Easy there skipper. Serious or frequent shooters recommend gear that has actually been tested by years of actual hard use and combat in the GWOT. It is what it is. It would be irresponsible to not do so.
I'm sure at that price point the optic is fine durability-wise. Button placement is fine. All of the USB cable - type "customization" and recharging features seem really gimmicky. The two lines on either side of the dot are gimmicky considering the type of shooting one does typically with a red dot. The forward brightness adjustment grip thingie is certainly an interesting idea, but also a bit corny and it's just another item to crowd the front end of your rifle if you use lasers, weapon lights, grips, etc.
Im not taking the rifle into battle chief its for fun shooting and aestetics. But for that price i want to make sure its not junk. I have no problem spending dough as i plan on building another rifle with a faxon upper (1300) and an elcan spectre optic (2300) so 5 or 600 is fine with me, im just looking for reviews of itComment

$1300? For a faxon? Dude, LMT MRP or KAC SR15 ALL DAY. Elcan? Much better options unless its a clone, and faxon clearly is not....Im not taking the rifle into battle chief its for fun shooting and aestetics. But for that price i want to make sure its not junk. I wonder if Israelis look at Aimpoints and talk trash about it?... I suspect so.
I trust lots of Israeli products (primarily because I had a friend here on visa - and learned about their requirements - something US couch comandos should learn and respect)...
If you are going to post an opinion (especially one without personal experience) at least make an informed one.
Some of CAA stuff is pricey because of its origin... If yiu want cheap - look to China or Phillipines...
Maybe Trump will make nice and Israelis with give us a discount... In the meantime - post with substance, not adolescence and ignorance.
Having that been said... I'm sure some will try to justify their position by poo pooing the price... Again, "origin" and I'm POSITIVE Israeli citizens LOL at much of what is touted here."Kamala is a radical leftist lunatic" ~ Donald J. TrumpComment

You CAN NOT build an MRP or SR15. You should get back into your lane while you are behind. I recommend the exit to your righthttp://faxonfirearms.com/arak-21-upper-receiver/
Again if i wanted one of those other options i would build it, i dont... Or should i just check with you before i do all my builds? SmhComment
