EOTech Thoughts.
I spoke with the EOTech people about three weeks back. I was asking if they were going to sell any of the Sights that Homeland (ICE) was returning (they are going with Aimpoints) as a result of the lawsuit.
I figured that they would refurbish them and I could get a nice deal. Their response was that they would not be selling any of those sights and pointed me to a release or notice that is being sent with the sights. It is also posted on their web site.
I got the impression that they would not be fixing the problem, simply making each of us aware of the parallax issue and the EOTech's ability to potentially not hold a ZERO when extreme temps are involved.
EXAMPLE: You zero your weapon at 75 degrees and then go hunting in the snow; say 35 degrees. There is a chance that while the weapon is not at 75 degrees there could be a MOA change, and when you return to the 75 degrees; there too might be a MOA change.
