IS EOTECH FIXING THEIR SIFHTS?

Is eotech working to FIX their Holographic Weapon Sights? I haven't seen any news lately. I was just about to purchase an HWS and Maginifier before that issue arose last year and if they fix the issue I would definitely reconsider purchasing.

I've been wondering the same thing... I've got one on my Tavor and PS90, and decided I'm not going to send them in for refund because they're sighted in at 25yds anyway and don't see rapid and extreme temperature changes. If they offer a replacement deal once it's fixed, I'd probably take them up on it.

That would be nice! I would bet they'll give you some type of credit. I just haven't heard anything. You'd think they'd be sending out lots of info saying gey...we messed up were fixing this stand by for an even greater product. Or are they just sitting over there like ...well it was cool while it lasted guys. Let's just making the same stuff and hope people buy it.

I'm still not really getting the issue since the majority of SOF and SAD/SOG guys out here are still running around with EOTech optics on their rifles and don't seem to give a s**t.

People are making a hole hell of a lot out of almost nothing.

I honestly wonder if ANY people that sent sights back to EoTech actually had any of these issues? I doubt anyone shoots in the conditions required to change POI.

I doubt anyone that sent in a sight even knows what kind of shift their gun/ammo will induce at those temperatures independent of any type of sight.

Never had any issue with several of mine's EXP-2's and I saw absolutely no reason to return something that was working just fine (year round).
But then again, I'm not an extreme temperature operator so maybe I'm not qualified to make statement on this subject.

Do you have a source for this? This is the first time I've heard they had the problem fixed. My understanding was that it was a design flaw that they have known about for a while but couldn't figure out how to fix it.

a vendor on our site here OpticsPlanet or what others are guaranteeing that the ones they are shipping are the ones as long as it's at the first of the year or after they keep running a monthly ad coupon for them. I would add a link but that is beyond my technology lol

From my understanding their brand new manufactured anything manufactured after 2016 has been updated and fixed problem solved I've been searching for the coupon but can't find it right now almost positive it was OpticsPlanet. It's the vendor that runs a monthly ad every month one for eoteck and one for Aimpoint

agreed I think people just jumped on the bandwagon of returns ..99.5 % of people will never come close to seeing those conditions, but then again everyone is a Internet marksman
