Best value for a micro dot is an Aimpoint T1 imo. It's the toughest out of all of these... well the RMRs are pretty tough as well, but the T1 can take quite the lickin.

That's a Fastfire III pictured. You can find a NOS Fastfire II for about $175 if you're patient.

T-1 probably most sturdy, although if you don't need the NV compatibility and don't plan on shooting in extreme temperatures, save a $100+ and get the H-1.

Sorry, I retract my previous statement, what Mute said is correct, H1 is the best value.

I feel like the OP and poll are conflating two separate categories. I think of a micro RDS like the T-1/H-1 line as being a different thing from the RMR/FastFire/DeltaPoint type of sight.

Both can be mounted to a pistol or used as a primary/back-up red dot on a rifle. While they appear different, they are really not different in use IMO.

The aimpoints T-1/H-1 shines on pistols because 1) battery compartment isn't an issue like it is with RMRs on pistols 2) the laser diode emitter (read: laser thingy) is enclosed to where adverse weather conditions do not effect it.

Only 2) is an issue when rifle mounted. I haven't heard of battery connectivity problems with RMRs on rifles. Maybe I'm wrong though.

The quality, durability, and longevity you get from an Aimpoint T-1/H-1 I feel outweighs anything else listed, and that alone makes it the best value to me.

Deltapoint Pro has a rear sight built in, which is a big plus when trying to find the dot on a pistol.
RMR Trijicon, is what it is.
Cmore? Whats wrong with them, didn't they fix the battery bounce switch off problem?
Aimpoint, seems I have overlooked thee guys.
                      Docter? Yeah I know.
JP. How do you edit the poll? To add them in?

Yes these were all supposed to be in the Pistol/AR CQB category. I have a ~$400 Deltapoint at 45deg on my AR, its very nice, you do need to clean the LED every once and a while to keep it sharp.

The T2 for durability, battery life and it can be used in any weather condition unlike the others you posted.

Since all the others the emitter is not covered and water gets on it you'll split the dot and end up with ghosting on your screen.

I especially don't like the RMR for the Fish eye/bowl effect you get around the center of the dot. It makes me dizzy when transitioning from target to target.

The Aimpoint will get my vote. Definitely some other good picks on your list but if you could afford it, get the T2.

                              Overall list of reported concerns and issues;

                              Red glare
                              Tint
Mild to significant magnification, seeming to be around 1.25x to 1.5x
Mild to significant fish eye effect causing distinct FOV shift

                              Trijicon's track record continues.
