My vote goes to the Aimpoint Micro based on its track record. My decision could change in the future once the MRO has been out for a while.

MRO
Mine has a very very slight tint, non issue, no fisheye, maybe 1.1 mag looking at something 2 feet away, non issue. Only time I could get red led reflection is when I had the illumination up to high for the lighting I was in. I can get led reflection from my Aimpoints in the same manner.
Field of view is better than my Aimpoint micros, glass and dot look better on the MRO compared to my T1's and H1's.Comment

Just because the manufacturer specifies something does not mean it's going to be that way. Our eyes are fantastic at letting our brain know minute differences. If people say there seems to be a little magnification, and it's coming from multiple sources, I personally wouldn't doubt it.Originally posted by HopetonBrownThe MRO is 1x magnification, meaning there is none.
I haven't looked through one, so I couldn't personally say how it looks to me. However, I really don't see why I would ever want to spend money on a MRO and take the chance when the Aimpoint Micro exists with its track record.Comment

Exactly, the MRO is advertised at 1x, that is why it is not good when the image appears to have magnification.Originally posted by HopetonBrownThe MRO is 1x magnification, meaning there is none.Comment

I looked through one last week that a friend of mine bought and it had tint, magnification and fisheye. He was very disappointed with the MRO and wanted me to verify that it wasn't just his eyes that saw the MRO problems. He returned the MRO and plans to buy an Aimpoint H1.Just because the manufacturer specifies something does not mean it's going to be that way. People are saying that you want a late serial number MRO, if you get one. Read up on the arfcom megathreads.Comment

MRO is the best deal. I have an MRO, 2 T-1s, and a T2. If you are looking for a good price for a rugged micro the MRO is it. If you don't like the MRO the H-1 is next best. The best overall deal for a RDS regardless of size is the AP PRO, but the supplied mount sucks.
I have a PRO too and I ended up replacing the mount with a LaRue.
The complaints about the MRO are comparisons of a $475 optic to a $650 optic (T-1). There is virtually no measured magnification in the MRO (1.05), but there is image shift which is the trade off for the larger sight picture and lack of tunnel view. I think it is worth it as I never notice the image shift in use. I only notice it when sitting in my house worrying about it. BTW - The T-1 and T-2 have image shift too, but with the tiny sight picture it is not very noticeable.
The reflection issue is a little more problematic, but it is transient. I'm using the MRO on one of my best rifles while I evaluate it.
BTW- There is no doubt to me that the T-2 is better than the T-1. It has better optics, the housing is better, it is supposedly tougher, and it comes with lens caps if you like lens caps.Last edited by ScottsBad; 11-15-2015, 10:04 PM.sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.Comment

Here is their sight. Read their FAQ to get the joke.
Asked them for the mounting hole locations, they wouldn't tell me.
